Always Sunny in Arizona

Short piece today. But I want to start by a standing ovation for Devin Booker. Clap with me.

The Phoenix suns are 8-6 in a tough Wetern conference without Jalen Green. The main piece they traded for Kevin Durant. Going into the season I believed the suns were on ambitious and were planning on tanking and wasting Bookers prime years or prehaps trading him to start their rebuild

But it seems Booker has had other ideas. Picking up the point guard role he’s adapted quickly averaging 28.5 and 7 assist to go along. He’s been carrying the suns to a respectful team in the west. Even though i don’t believe they have championship expectations they are over performing their current rooster expiation.

At time Booker was perceived as robins especially playing next to the talented KD but him playing Batmans and still contributing to winning basketball was not on my 2025/26 bingo cards.
